Dear Oil Bowl Player

Congratulations on your selection to the 2010 All-Star Oil Bowl Team. This will be the 73nd meeting between Texas and Oklahoma in one of the oldest All-Star Football Games in the country. We wanted to take this opportunity to not only congratulate you, but also pass on some information that both you and your family may need. Items to bring:

1. All your football gear including any special pads. Two pair of white practice pants (one for game). You will be issued a game jersey that you may keep.
2. Toiletry articles.
3. Portable TV's and video games.
4. Spending money
5. You may want to bring, or purchase, an autograph football for a momento of the game. (You can purchase an autographed football for $40.00. This is a very popular event for the players.)
6. If the game is recorded, you can purchase the game video for $40.00. You can order it ahead of time or sometime after you arrive in Wichita Falls. There is a PDF file you can open and print from the HOME page of this website. Order forms will also be available at the Hall of Fame Banquet and at the Football Game. Your game video will be mailed to you several weeks after the game.
7. You may bring any special pillows or blankets that you wish; however, ALL linens, etc., are furnished by Pierce (or Killingsworth) Hall (940-397-7510). You will pick-up your linens when you check-in.

Oil Bowl Banquet

1. The Oil Bowl Banquet will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 11th at the Maskat Shrine Center, 5101 Henry Grace Freeway. Tickets are $15.00 and will be available at the door. We encourage all parents, friends, and relatives to attend the Oil Bowl Banquet since both Texas and Oklahoma teams attend.

2. The dress for football players is game jersey and slack. Dress for the banquet is casual--Sunday dress is appropriate for women and slacks and golf shirt for men.

Miscellaneous Information

1. You, or your transportation provider, will be paid round-trip bus fare from where you played high school football. This will be arranged on Saturday, June 12th
2. All meals are provided.
3. Your eligibility is in no way affected by your participation in the Oil Bowl.
4. If you know a young lady who is interested in competing in the 2010 Oil Bowl Queen Contest, please contact any of the above listed Oil Bowl Representatives. This is always a highlight of each Oil Bowl Game.
