REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
You should have received a registration package that included a Cover Letter, General Information Sheet, Player Contract, Player Information Sheet, and Credit Card authorization Form. Also included were LINKS to MSU Release Forms you must go online to complete.
Fill out the Player Contract and Player Informaton forms and return to Maskat Shrine either by mail or scan and email. Be sure that you print legibly and include a telephone number and email. If you do not have an email, include the email of someone (i.e., parent or guardian) that will get information to you should we need to contact you by email. Also complete the online MSU release forms when you send your registration form to Maskat. Registration is not complete until this is done. The $150 player fee is due at time of registration (see Miscellaneous Information below).
1. Player contract (needs to be signed by parent or guardian for players under 18 years old).
2. Player information sheet. It is very important that you fill in every blank. This information is used to create the roster, put information on the Oil Bowl website, and contact your booster club for ads, etc., to include in the official program.
3. Each player must go to the MSU website and complete either the Under Age 18 Form (Minor's Release Form) or the Adult Player Form (Adult Release Form) before his registration is complete.
4. Credit Card Authorization Form. This form is included in the package for your convenience in paying for the required fee.
Items to bring:
- ALL YOUR PRACTICE GEAR including any special pads; one pair of white practice pants; one pair of white game pants and belt; one practice jersey; socks and gloves. (See the second paragraph of the contract for full details.) You will be issued a game jersey.
- Bed linens (sheets, pillows, blanket, etc.) for twin bed, towels, and toiletry articles.
- Portable TV's and video games.
- Spending money.
Oil Bowl Memorabilia: (See "Oil Merchandise" tab on home page at www.oilbowl.com)
Game Video: If the game is recorded, you can purchase the game video for $40.00. It can be ordered ahead of time or sometime after you arrive in Wichita Falls. An order form (PDF file) is available on the HOME page of this website that you can print and use to order the video. Forms will also be available at the Football Game. The video will be mailed to you several weeks after the game.
Oil Bowl Pictures: You will also be able to order team and individual pictures in several sizes (info is on this website).
Oil Bowl T-Shirts: These items will be available for purchase at the game.
Miscellaneous Information:
1. All Meals will be provided.
2. Your eligibility is in no way affected by your participation in the Oil Bowl.
3. Player fee of $150 is due when paperwork is sent to Maskat (either mailed USPS or emailed).
4. If paperwork is mailed include: (a) check payable to Maskat Shrine Oil Bowl or (b) fill out and include the Credit Card Authorization Form and mail with your paperwork to Maskat Shrine, 5101 Henry S. Grace Freeway, Wichita Falls TX 76302.
5. If paperwork is emailed: Fill out the Credit Card Authorization Form and scan along with the rest of your package and email to oilbowl@maskatshrine.com.
6. If you would rather not mail or email your credit card information, call Maskat Shrine Office (940-766-4511) and provide the needed information for the $150 charge then mail or email your package to Maskat Shrine.
